This is a full-time role based out of our office in Old Street, London. We can only consider applicants who are able to work 3 days per week from the office.
Role
A Quality Assurance Analyst at FX Digital has a passion for ensuring quality in all facets of their profession. You will report to a Senior QA, who will be able to offer guidance and support. You can competently write robust test plans and test cases to ensure quality coverage within a fast-paced working environment. Doing so on a variety of projects, from websites and web apps to mobile, Smart TV and Connected TV apps. You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of work delivered is of an impeccable standard across the board.
You are brave enough to challenge team members with regards to quality and processes, forever striving towards an improvement in both. You maintain personally and encourage a culture of curiosity to the learning of new languages, tools and practices to maintain the high standard of quality and innovation expected at FX Digital.
You are a dependable and collaborative member of the QA and wider FX team, able to competently communicate and follow processes while having a desire to innovate with regards to their personal development needs, tools and opportunities that contribute towards increased professional knowledge and efficiency. The Quality Analyst has a keen eye for detail, a passion for process and a thirst for knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Involved in the full test life cycle (requirements analysis, test case definition, tools/documentation, execution, defect capture and reporting).
- Enforce and uphold the quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Hold themselves and colleagues accountable for the standard of work that is released, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Thorough documentation of user stories, test plans and test cases and the maintenance of these.
- Report and prioritise bugs and issues raised in a variety of channels.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the QA team to implement broader automation coverage across current and future projects.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience of working in a wider team with multiple concurrent projects.
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Able to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to all levels within the business.
- Experience with version control and workflows.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Able to demonstrate great attention to detail, care and accuracy while maintaining the speed of work to meet deadlines.
- Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira.
- Exceptional understanding of UX qualities.
Desirable
- Some previous experience with, or knowledge of Javascript.
- Confident usage of software debugging tools (Web inspector, debugging).
- Experience with test-automation suites.
- ISTQB qualifications.
- Experience implementing or integrating unit testing.
- Experience working with Connected Devices and in particular Smart TV’s.
- Experience testing on the Playstation and/or Xbox platform.
- Experience testing HTML video players.
